1st - Round 1 in Tiree

On Saturday we had round 1 of the Tiree wave classic at Balevullin.
Some pretty decent head to logo high waves, side shore and enough wind
to get around on a 5.4. I managed to get through to the final against
Phil and then just took the win on a full split decision. Basically we
had exact equal scores, but in the tie break rules I won 2:1 on the
judges. There is still the double elimination to go though so its a
long way from done, definitely a good start though. The forecast looks
good for the rest of the week so for sure we have some good conditions
coming.
