Avon beach

There is something about sailing in the UK that I love. Probably because I dont get to do it much, but the days I do get are pretty special. Yesterday I met up with Hunty, Jamie Hancock and James Cox at Avon beach. As I hit the water the wind picked up about 20 kts, then it started raining so hard it was hurting the face, then when I came to change down, the wind completely dropped. Not the best session ever, but I loved it for some reason. Nayra doesn't quite understand it, but took a couple of photos and had a nice coffee in the beach cafe. In fairness she didn't have her wetsuit, but pretty sure she would not have gone whatever. For me though, I still love it and probably always will!

Hey John, how is life? Is it still possible to sail without a cap in the UK? We are thinking about driving to Cornwall next week....
Cheers from Steffi and Henning

Hi Steffi.
All good. Back in GC surfing at the moment. For North Sea sailors like yourselves it will be tropical in Cornwall!! But still take the cap just in case.
