Just come back from a great weekend in Hayling. Unfortunately no
sailing for me, but I think it was almost better to be watching the
carnage. 300 sailors getting sent to the slaughter in a solid head
high shorebreak. Brilliant! The conditions looked really fun, with an
almost identical 25-30kts as 2 years ago. By the time the night part
of the event started it had dropped slightly, but was still enough for
some great racing. Well done to Chris for winning. Next week its more
of the same at Windfest so if you missed Hayling, get yourself down
there.
