Yesterday saw no wind and a much needed rest for everyone in Maui. My body was definitely calling out for a day off! Meanwhile in Ireland they scored it big time for the first UKWA event of the year. Gary Williams is an infamous surf spot in Brandon Bay and works maybe once or twice a year for sailing. It’s a full on barrel wave breaking inches in front of the rocks, so its pretty hardcore. They had it at about logo high and it looks amazing. Check out the pics at www.boardseeker.com. Well done to Andy King for the win. I am gutted to miss that.
